Pat Mitchell-Worley (EP2011) has been named the new Executive Director at the Stax Music Academy.

J.W. (EP1999) and Kathy (EP2003) Gibson won the 2018 Oustanding Volunteer Fundraiser Crystal Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Memphis Chapter.
Valerie Morris (EP2014) has been named the PRSA 2018 Executive of the Year.
Christin Webb (FTF2017) was selected as a 2018 Top 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Award Recipient.
Lori Spicer Robertson (FTF2008) was selected as a 2018 Top 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Award Recipient.
Jena Scott-Robinson (FTS2017) was selected as a 2018 Top 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Award Recipient.

Mark Norris (EP1991) has been confirmed as a Federal Judge by the U.S. Senate.
Wendi Thomas (EP2010) has been chosen at the Journalism and Women Symposium (JAWS) 2018 journalist of the year.
