Our Vision
A healthy, thriving Memphis as indicated by the Socio Determinants of Health.
Our Mission
Our mission is to cultivate community leaders, curate opportunities for civic engagement with government and community organizations, and to connect and convene leaders to collaborate around solutions for Memphis’ most pressing issues and to celebrate community advancements.
Cultivate: Leadership Programs
Leadership Memphis develops, connects, and mobilizes leaders to drive positive change in our city. Through our Executive, FastTrack, and College Internship programs, we equip leaders at every stage with the knowledge, networks, and experiences needed to make an impact. Participants deepen their civic understanding, build cross-sector relationships, and learn to lead with purpose. Graduates join a powerful alumni network of 4,300+ changemakers strengthening Memphis through service, mentorship, and collaboration.
Curate: Volunteer Memphis
Volunteer Memphis mobilizes volunteers to strengthen communities across Memphis and Shelby County. As the action arm of Leadership Memphis, we connect individuals, families, corporate teams, and community groups to meaningful service opportunities with more than 200 nonprofits and schools. Our volunteers make an impact year-round—supporting youth, helping families overcome poverty, and improving our local environment.
