The MLK Days of Service, taking place January 14-17, 2022, empowers 2,000+ individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of a beloved community through 100+ service projects.
Multiple projects will include resources and engagement opportunities focused on education, empowerment, financial literacy, environmental stewardship, and mentorship.
The goals of this service event are:
- To engage Memphians in an educational workshop that will enlist Leadership Memphis Alums and the greater Memphis community to empower Mid-Southerners.
- To engage Memphians in service that will see the impact and build the capacity of Mid-south nonprofits. These non-profits support the community and focus on solutions that address education, empowerment, economic development, and poverty.
