2026 MLK Days of Service Volunteer-A-Thon
On Friday, January 16, Volunteer Memphis hosted a powerful MLK Day Volunteer-A-Thon rooted in service, community, and collective care. Our 2026 Executive Program cohort stepped up to lead volunteers through a high-energy day of hands-on service, embodying Dr. King’s call to action through meaningful work.
Together, 132 volunteers packed 1,971 necessity kits, created 123 dog tug toys, and assembled 440 warm-weather kits to be distributed to Memphis Union Mission, Adopt-A-MAS, and Hospitality Hub.
We’re grateful to our volunteer teams from JIFF Youth, Team TCB, Guest House at Graceland, Innovative Engineering Services, 2026 Team Swoosh, and Flynn Group, and to Memphis Public Libraries for hosting us.
