Starting January 2015, the Leadership Memphis Alumni Engagement Series will host monthly events.
Throughout 2014, Leadership Memphis alumni sold out various Alumni Engagement Events including ‘Stickfly’ at the new Hattiloo Theatre in Overton Square and touring the historic Victorian Village.
In an effort to maximize engagement opportunities in 2015, the Alumni Engagement Committee will be hosting monthly events for alumni.
From networking events to sneak peeks at some of Memphis’ newest businesses and redevelopments, these monthly events will engage Leadership Memphis alumni across all of the programs and allow more opportunities to connect with each other.
“The monthly Alumni Engagement events are going to be a great addition to our continued learning experience for our alumni and will allow them to see things in the community that they might have never known about or been involved with,” said Jared Bulluck, Director of Community and Alumni Engagement at Leadership Memphis.
The first Alumni Engagement Event of 2015 is a Fireside Chat with Shelby County Mayor, Mark Luttrell, on January 15 from 6 - 8 pm at Playhouse On The Square.
“These are exciting times for Leadership Memphis and the year 2015 will go down in history as one of our best years yet. We are grateful to each of you who have volunteered your time, talent, and resources to ensure the success of our numerous programs and projects,”said Sandra K. Walls, Alumni Engagement Committee Chair.
The Alumni Engagement Events are free to attend but you must RSVP since some events have limited capacity. Upcoming events will be posted on our homepage for you to RSVP.
